"Our team is comprised of multidisciplinary site leaders from departments like environmental health and safety, maintenance, production, engineering and others. Overall, the team’s objective is to set directions, provide support and oversee the execution of water management. These risks and solutions can be both short-term and long-term such as engineering projects, maintenance, ditch cleanup or other projects that we believe will make our water management more efficient and our protection system more robust.

As the I&E Supervisor, I get to collaborate with people of other crafts, working together to achieve maintenance goals. Through this collaboration, I learn about other roles; we all teach each other so when you see a problem you can recognize it and say, “I’m not the person to fix this but I know what the problem is and can find the person who can.”

"The best bit about my job is that no two days are ever the same working at a plant like this. It is quite a diverse role; one day I can be out in the plant and the next day I can be talking about things like the net-zero hydrogen initiative in the UK. I’m not stuck behind a desk all day.
